All Good Things to Those Who Wait

Toni here with a card featuring the Ranger Distress Specialty Stamping paper the store is now carrying.

I've been wanting to try this paper for quite some time.  I knew Tim wouldn't let me down.  The smoothness of the surface reminds me of Yupo paper BUT you can heat it!  Trust me, you do not want to heat Yupo, unless you like Shrinky Dinks.

The RDSS paper handled the Brushos and water beautifully, drying in record time.  Unlike on glossy paper often used in the Versamark resist technique I used here, the stamped images did not at all smear.  What?  I can immediately move on to the next step?  Yes!!!!  The Versamark resist technique relies on Versamark to repel ink--love how it turned out with the Concord & 9th Tree Ring and HA Ombre ink, don't you?

You can also see that I'm using a Gina Marie border die.  Gina Marie dies are currently on their way to the store and totally rock!  You'll be seeing a lot of those in future cards.  Woo hoo!

If you'd like to learn more about the techniques I used for this card, do stop on by my blog, Frankie Helps Craft.  Toodles!
